Ferrari has been fined €10,000 for a breach of Article B6.4.2 of the regulations.

Following FP1, the Maranello outfit failed to physically return electronically returned tyres to Pirelli before the start of Free Practice 2.

This happened with the tyres for both Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.

The stewards heard from a team representative who acknowledged the breach and attributed it to an oversight.

In each instance the team was fined €5,000.

Meanwhile, Piastri, Norris, Antonelli, Verstappen and Hadjar have all taken on new ICEs this weekend, while the McLaren and Red Bull drivers have also taken on new turbochargers.

Norris, Verstappen, Hadjar and Antonelli have also taken on new exhaust sets, while the Italian, Stroll and Gasly have taken on new MGU-Ks.

The Cadillac pair have taken on new energy stores and control electronics units, as has Norris, while Antonelli, Hadjar and Gasly have taken on new power unit ancillary components.

For the most part these are in line with the regulations, however this is Hadjar's fifth ICE, fifth turbocharger and fifth exhaust set, which is not in conformity with the regulations and will therefore incur a penalty.

Likewise Stroll, who takes his fourth MGU-K of the season, and Norris, who, as previously reported, takes his fourth control electronics unit of the season.
